After the 2s and 3s respective home games a week Saturday (29th July), we have THE GRAY WOLF BAND playing at the club. Starting at 8.30pm. Entry is FREE, and the bar will be well stocked!! The season is fast approaching and it’s not just the pitch that needs preparing…. The GCC Fantasy League is back and it’s time to pick your XI’s! They will earn you points on Saturdays, raise money for the club and for an astute few team managers, a prize at the end of the season. Entry costs £10 per team, you may pick multiple teams… Top 3 places at the end of the season will be winning cash prizes (the more entries the higher the prize). Garboldisham Cricket Club are delighted to announce that legendary sports journalist Henry Blofeld will be our special guest speaker for our annual dinner at the picturesque Lyng Farm Barn on Friday 24th March. Many of you will of heard Blowers over the radio during his innings of more than 40 years working for Test Match Special, now is your opportunity to listen to him in person. Club captain Danny Cash will be hosting the evening with comedian Martin Gold also performing Tickets are available for £60 per person. Ticket price includes a 4 course meal. A couple of new captains to try and impress in Phil King & George Gooderham This years indoor nets will again be held at Long Stratton Sports Centre Times and dates for training are as follows 2nd February 16th February 2nd March 16th March 30th March All sessions are from 7pm-9pm £5 per session Garboldisham are always on the look out for new players to join. You could be someone who is looking to take up the sport for the 1st time or a player with plenty of overs under their belt looking to get back into playing.
