Brooke U9s 60-5 v Garboldisham U9s 49-7, Sunday 22 May

It was a very good performance from the youngsters, many of whom were playing their first hard ball match. The game was very tight and with two overs to go, Garboldisham only needed 9 to win. However, Brooke’s strike bowler returned and took two late wickets which turned the match in Brooke’s favour. There are lots of promising signs for the U9s going forward for the rest of the season.
