This year’s Awards Dinner will be held at Garboldisham Village Hall on Saturday 18 November.
Here’s all the details from James Worby:
This year we are going to try something different for our club end of season presentation evening: instead of the Park hotel we are holding it at Garby village hall. The date for your diary is Saturday 18th November, 7pm start for 7.30 meal. The ticket price is £10 a head (£6 for children) and the night will run as follows:
Eat at 7.30, a two course meal catered by Janet Worby, you have a choice of curry rice and naan bread or chilli rice and tortilla chips for main, and a choice of deserts on the night. Hopefully food will be done by 8.30 then followed by the awards presentations for all adult teams which will be done by 9.15-9.30 and then dance the night away to my friend DJ Jon Kenny ‘s fantastic disco until midnight. We have bar staff in to run the bar for us so we can relax and enjoy the Evening.
I need to know numbers for catering purposes so if you can confirm your attendance asap please.
Thanks a lot and hopefully it will be a good night to celebrate the season in style.
Please contact James Worby asap on 07342 130429 or via the GCC Facebook page to book your place.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 20 November at 7.00pm with venue to be confirmed.
Next year’s Annual Sportsman’s Dinner is booked in for Friday 2 March and our guest speaker will be ex-England batsman Graham Thorpe! Details to follow.
